Nigerians are currently talking about Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen’s actions after scoring against Tunisia.
Nigeria clashed with the North African giants on Saturday, 27th December and emerged victorious courtesy of multiple strikes from Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Wilfred Ndidi.
Despite the win, Osimhen became a subject of online criticism due to his reaction after scoring the first goal of the game.
The Striker upon scoring removed his mask as he ran through the pitch. While running, Osimhen was seen talking aggressively while pointing at a yet-to-be identified individual who is said to have been seated on the bench.
Despite swift intervention from his teammates who tried to call him to order, Osimhen wasn’t having it as he continued to vent out till he received a yellow card from the referee for his actions.
However, towards the end of the match, Tunisia put up a fierce fight as they managed to come from 3-0 down to score 2 goals and fought so desperately for a 3rd goal which never came.
