A Nigerian man, Praise Okoro, has taken to social media to showcase how much he saw in his Opay account after re-installing the app.
He took a screenshot of his Opay dashboard and posted it on Facebook, sharing details about his account.
On his Facebook page, he stated that he left N500 in his Opay account when he was in secondary school. He noted that at the time, users without the National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) were being logged out.
The young man noted that he left the N500 when he was still in secondary school.
The man stated that he recently decided to reinstall the app and was shocked to see that the money was still intact.
He hailed the financial institution for saving him, adding that he used the money to buy food.
Praise said in his post:
“Omo una save me today. So there’s 500 naira that was left in my OPay account when I was in secondary School as at the time they logged users out for not having NIN/ BVN. So, today i decided to re-install the app.
“And within few minutes of logging in and doing the necessary…I was shocked to still see my #500 since two and half years ago. Na to rush outside go meet Okpa woman. Everywhere good.”
