Ooni appears tired during Olojo Festival
The footage, shared on Instagram on Saturday, September 26, 2026, showed the Ooni seated during the Ojo Okemogun/Aare cultural procession, one of the activities associated with the Olojo Festival.
At some point, one of his queens approached the monarch, exchanged greetings with him and posed for a photograph.
However, the Ooni appeared noticeably tired during the brief interaction. He remained largely expressionless while the picture was being taken, giving little indication of his usual energetic demeanour.
After the photograph, his wife greeted him in the traditional manner. The monarch responded with a nod but did not appear to say anything or smile.
