Nigerian billionaire and Globacom founder Mike Adenuga has made another rare public appearance after businessman Femi Otedola shared a fresh photograph of him.
Otedola posted the picture on Friday, September 25, 2026, following a meeting with Adenuga in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
The photograph offered social media users an uncommon opportunity to see the reclusive billionaire, who is known for keeping his personal life away from the public eye.

Unlike several other prominent Nigerian billionaires who frequently attend public events and appear in photographs, Adenuga has maintained a notably private lifestyle.

Adenuga is also sometimes referred to as the “Spirit of Africa” because of his low-key public profile.

Otedola appeared pleased to have met the Globacom founder and accompanied the photograph with a lengthy tribute highlighting Adenuga’s achievements and honours.
He referred to the billionaire as “The Chairman of Chairmen” before listing some of his national and international distinctions.

The latest photograph also reminded some social media users of Otedola’s previous posts celebrating Adenuga, including a throwback photograph he shared in April to mark the Globacom founder’s 73rd birthday.
Otedola’s latest post has once again drawn attention to Adenuga’s famously private lifestyle and the rarity of seeing the billionaire in public photographs.
