A member of the social media team for Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD prayer conference has stirred reactions online after making a humorous remark about Lagos residents during a sound check at Manchester United’s Old Trafford.
The man, identified as Izu on TikTok, was seen carrying out a sound check alongside other members of the team as preparations continued for the highly anticipated prayer gathering.
While at the iconic stadium, Izu jokingly warned people in Lagos that they should stay away from the programme, suggesting they would not be allowed to participate either physically or through the online livestream.
His playful comments appeared to reference an incident during the Lagos NSPPD prayer conference a few months ago when the livestream was reportedly interrupted.
Izu humorously suggested that the team would shut down access to the broadcast for Lagos viewers, telling them to stay home and implying that they would not be able to watch the programme online.
The light-hearted remarks have attracted attention from social media users, particularly followers of the NSPPD prayer programme, who found the reference to the previous livestream incident amusing.
The video was recorded as the team continued making final preparations at Old Trafford ahead of the conference scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026.
