Fresh speculation surrounding the late actor Alexx Ekubo’s widow, Anwuli Amakom, has surfaced online after a video from his wake-keep in Arochukwu, Abia State, gained widespread attention and sparked excitement among social media users.
As earlier reported, the procession transporting the actor’s remains made a stop at the palace of the Eze Aro of Arochukwu. During the visit, a man believed to be the traditional ruler offered prayers over the casket before the journey continued.
However, it was a particular portion of the prayer that quickly became the focus of online discussions. Many viewers claimed they heard the traditional ruler make remarks suggesting that Alexx’s wife might be expecting a child.
During the prayer session, the man appealed to God to preserve Alexx’s bloodline and ensure it continued despite his passing.
He went on to mention reports allegedly indicating that the actor’s widow was pregnant. He then prayed that the unborn child would grow to achieve even greater accomplishments than the late movie star.
Although neither Alexx Ekubo’s family nor his representatives have confirmed the statement, the remarks generated optimism among many Nigerians, who took to social media to celebrate the possibility and share their thoughts.
