President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, founder of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, on the occasion of his 85th birthday celebrated on June 6, 2026.
In his tribute, the President hailed Pastor Kumuyi as a faithful minister of the Gospel whose lifelong dedication to Christian service has positively influenced countless people in Nigeria and around the world.

Tinubu acknowledged the remarkable reach of the Deeper Life founder’s ministry, highlighting the profound effect of his teachings and international evangelistic outreaches on diverse communities across the globe.
He said: “As the convener of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), your voice has reached beyond the church walls and national borders, bringing hope and encouragement to millions across the world.”
The President also recognized the impact of Kumuyi’s literary contributions, noting that his books and publications have served as valuable resources for individuals searching for direction, wisdom, and spiritual understanding.
He added: “Your writings have illuminated minds, inspired hearts, and provided timeless guidance to those seeking truth and purpose,”
Tinubu further observed that Pastor Kumuyi’s ministry has played an important role in deepening the faith of believers, promoting family values, and motivating leaders within both religious and civic spheres over the years.
Offering prayers for the revered cleric, the President said: “On this special day, I pray that Almighty God continues to grant you strength, divine health, peace, and abundant grace.”
