Nollywood actor Musa Ibrahim has sparked conversations online after reflecting on his experience acting in the 2007 horror movie 666 (Beware the End Is at Hand) nearly two decades after its release.
In an interview with content creator Lucky Udu shared on social media on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the actor recounted some of the challenges he claimed to have faced after participating in the film.
Ibrahim, who played a major role in the movie, alleged that he encountered serious spiritual struggles following the production, including a life-threatening accident.
According to him, the incident happened shortly after the movie was released and kept him away from the entertainment scene for a long period.
He revealed that he spent close to two years receiving treatment in the hospital before eventually recovering.
The actor explained that many viewers only see the entertainment side of movies without understanding what performers sometimes endure behind the scenes.
He added that starring in films centred on dark or demonic themes could come with consequences, especially when such productions attempt to expose evil forces.
Ibrahim also referenced veteran actress Regina Askia, claiming she stepped away from acting after featuring in the movie Snake Girl.
He maintained that certain movies often leave lasting effects on the actors involved.
The film 666 (Beware the End Is at Hand) was directed by Ugo Ugbor and featured actors including Prince Emeka Ani, who portrayed Lucifer, as well as Clem Ohameze, Kenneth Okonkwo and Musa Ibrahim.
