Zimbabwe has made public the updated roster of countries whose passport holders can access the country through a visa on arrival arrangement, with several African nations featuring on the approved list.
Details from Zimbabwe’s official eVisa portal indicate that citizens of qualifying nations are not required to obtain travel documentation before leaving their home countries.
Rather, they settle the necessary fees and receive their visa directly at the point of entry on arrival in Zimbabwe.
Those who prefer a smoother experience at the border also have the option of completing their entry formalities through an online process ahead of their journey.

Beyond the African continent, the complete list covers more than 50 nations spread across various regions of the world, encompassing prominent countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, India, China, Brazil and Australia.
Available Visa on Arrival Categories
Zimbabwe has structured its visa on arrival facility into three distinct tiers to accommodate different travel needs.
The most widely available option is the single-entry visa on arrival, which grants a one-month stay and applies to the majority of eligible nationalities.
For those requiring greater movement flexibility, a double-entry option exists, permitting two separate entries within a three-month validity window.
Citizens of the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada enjoy an exclusive privilege in the form of a multiple-entry visa on arrival that covers a six-month period, an option not extended to other nationalities.
It is important to note that a significant number of African nations do not appear on the visa on arrival register, with some instead falling under a separate visa exemption category.
Holders of Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan and South African passports are among those not covered by the visa on arrival arrangement and will therefore need to explore Zimbabwe’s conventional visa application process before making any travel arrangements.
