Mr Solo, the longtime driver of Afrobeats star Davido, has sparked reactions online after recently making a powerful statement about the Nigerian artist.
During a recent interview, he opened up about his loyalty and admiration for the singer, sharing his experiences working under him.
He explained that his relationship with Davido goes beyond work, adding that they have built a strong bond over the years.
Moreover, Mr Solo revealed that the heavy criticism Davido often faces online does not reflect reality when they go out in public. According to him, the atmosphere is usually filled with love and support, contrary to the negativity seen on social media.
He said: “Even the hate, they can’t say it in our faces. Everywhere they claim they hate us, when we get there, it’s love.”
The interview then took a more emotional turn when Mr Solo emphatically stated that he could take a bullet for the Nigerian musician, further highlighting his unwavering loyalty.
“I could take a shot for him, I go collect am for Baddest. That’s the kind of love I have.”
He added that if anything were to happen to him, he is confident that Davido would take care of his family.
