Tears as singer, Destiny Boy passes away months after welcoming first child (Video)

Afrobeat singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy has been lost to the cold hands of death.

Reports about his demise circulated online on Sunday afternoon, 18th January 2026 with videos of his dead body circulating online.

Recall that in November 2024, Entertainment Region reported that Destiny Boy in an Instagram post, disclosed that he had welcomed his first child at the age of 20.

As of March 2024, it was reported that singer Destiny Boy proposed to lover with a diamond ring worth multi-million Naira.

As at the moment of filling this report, there is no verifiable source confirming the cause of Destiny Boy’s death.

However, a source known as Goldmyne Africa stressed that he vomited blood to death. Another one said he died at his native doctor’s (Babalawo) place.

Confirming his death, Journalist Temilola Sobola wrote:

“Singer Destiny Boy has passed away. May his soul Rest In Peace🕊️.”
