A Nigerian TikTok user identified as @radyjenner_ng has stepped forward with private messages she exchanged with Asaba-based content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu Asaba, revealing how she narrowly avoided becoming one of his alleged victims.
She made her account public in a TikTok video uploaded on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 9:22 PM, coming forward days after the Delta State Police Command arrested Ogbonna over sexual assault allegations connected to a 20-year-old woman named Favour from Warri, who subsequently died.
According to her account, she first reached out to Odogwu Asaba on May 31, 2025, initially through TikTok after following his content for a period of time.
She explained that he had cultivated a public reputation around helping people in Asaba, regularly speaking out against exploitative housing agents and positioning himself as a protector of vulnerable individuals in the city.
At the time, she was going through serious financial hardship and could not afford to rent her own apartment, so she decided to contact him, hoping he could offer the same kind of assistance he claimed to have extended to others.
He responded and provided her with his personal phone number, after which their conversation shifted to WhatsApp.
She said the first warning sign appeared almost immediately. Shortly after their WhatsApp conversation began, he requested that she send him a photograph of herself, a request she complied with, describing the decision as a mistake in hindsight.
Although she no longer has access to the WhatsApp messages following a phone change, the original TikTok exchange showing him sending her his contact number remains visible, and she displayed it during her video to support her account.
