Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, has reacted to reports claiming that the marriage between his adopted autistic son, Elijah “Aboy” Chibuzor, and his wife, Blessing Chibuzor, had been nullified.
In a Facebook post shared on May 8, the cleric revealed that the couple recently visited the immigration office to process their international passports ahead of a planned holiday trip to Canada, which he had earlier promised them.
The pastor also shared photos taken with the couple during their visit to the passport office and disclosed that students currently studying in Canada under the OPM university scholarship programme had already been informed to receive and take care of them during their stay abroad.
According to the cleric, the trip is being sponsored through tithes and offerings from members of the church.
Addressing the rumours surrounding the couple’s marriage, the pastor dismissed the claims as false and insisted that their union remains valid.
He urged the public to disregard the reports, which he described as the work of enemies of progress.
He further reiterated that Aboy’s wife remains on a lifetime monthly salary arrangement, explaining that her responsibility is to care for his son, make him happy, and raise a family with him.
He also restated his earlier promise to reward her with N20 million if Elijah remains alive after 10 years.

“Please ignore any fake news of government nullification of their marriage.
“THERE MARRIAGE IS INTACT.
“It is just a fragment of imagination of ENEMIES OF PROGRESS.
“Every human being created by GOD deserves to be happy.
“Remember she is on a life time salary and her only job is to take care of my son Elijah, make him happy and give birth to beautiful healthy children.
“And if Elijah is alive in 10 years time she will receive another 20 million naira cash , which is different from her monthly salary every month.
“GOD IS HAPPY WHEN YOU MAKE OTHERS HAPPY.”
