Jephthah Bowoto, widely known as Akpororo, has spoken out following the circulation of a disturbing video showing the killing of a young singer in Delta State.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many Nigerians demanding justice for the victim.
Allegations against police officer
The officer linked to the incident, Usman Nuhu, has also faced separate allegations of abuse and assault raised by a content creator.
These claims have further intensified calls for a thorough investigation into the matter.
Questions over waybill process
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Akpororo highlighted concerns about the logistics process tied to the case.
He suggested that the company responsible for waybilling the package the singer reportedly went to collect should be investigated, stressing that parcels are typically inspected before being accepted and shipped.
Concerns about staff involvement
The comedian also pointed to the role of staff who handled the parcel before it was sent to Delta State, noting that their actions should be examined as part of the ongoing probe.
Calls for justice and accountability
Akpororo questioned why the officer allegedly resorted to taking the law into his own hands, stating that the situation raises serious concerns.
Meanwhile, social media users have continued to share similar experiences with delivery services and have tagged the Nigeria Police Force, urging authorities to carry out a comprehensive investigation and ensure justice for the deceased singer.
