The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released soon.
The update was shared on April 19 by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, via X, where he informed candidates about the timeline for the next batch of results.
In his words:
“Good day, Dear 2026 UTME candidates. The results of those who sat for the examination on Friday, 17th and Saturday, 18th April 2026 will be released within the next three hours. Please be prepared emotionally and mentally to check your results.”
According to the announcement, candidates who wrote the exam on April 17 and April 18 should expect to access their results within hours of the statement.
JAMB also advised candidates to remain calm and mentally prepared, noting that UTME results play a crucial role in determining admission into universities and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
This phased release aligns with the board’s usual approach, where results are made available in batches, starting with candidates who sat for the exam on earlier dates.
