Popular pastor, Jerry Eze has opened up on what an Egyptian told him during a rare encounter.
Speaking before the congregation, the clergyman noted that the Egyptian had approached him while admitting that he’s an ardent NSPPDian but expressed his discontent over how the pastor prays.
He noted that he has a problem with the pastor’s frequent statement of “the Egyptians you see today, you’ll see them no more”.
According to the Egyptian, there are a lot of NSPPDians in the country and they all wish to live but such type of statement during prayers appears like an attack to them.
Jerry Eze revealed that he responded, noting that he’s not talking about current Egyptians but in the biblical context.
The Egyptian went on to suggest that he uses another country for the illustration rather than Egypt but Jerry Eze refused, insisting that Egyptians will always be used.
The video has sparked a lot of comments from netizens who took to the comment section to weigh in. Some found the anecdote funny while others had something different to say.
