Nollywood actor Kolawole Ajeyemi has publicly shown support for his wife, Toyin Abraham, following her recent clash with fellow actress Funke Akindele.
The situation unfolded at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s movie, ‘The Return of Arinzo’, where Toyin attempted to greet Funke Akindele. Despite slightly kneeling as a sign of respect, she was ignored.
The moment, caught on camera, quickly made the rounds online and sparked widespread reactions.
Following the incident, Toyin Abraham unfollowed Funke Akindele on social media and made it clear that she would never greet her again.
She expressed her displeasure openly, stating that she would rather be called offensive names than extend another greeting to the actress.
The development stirred conversations across social media, drawing reactions from fans and influencers.
One of them, Bolanle Seun Ore, publicly backed Toyin by sharing her photo alongside a message of encouragement, stressing that she is appreciated and loved at home.
Bolanle Seun Ore wrote:
“I advocate for peace a lot but at this point am done!!! Oluwatoyin, you are loved at home.. Nothing do you omomi.”
