Footage of Bishop David Abioye’s playful moment with a child has garnered varying comments from social media users.
The clip, released on Facebook and Instagram by a vlogger who visited Abioye’s church, Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, caught the attention of netizens due to a moment of interaction between the preacher and a child.
The video opened with a child playing giving out her ‘sweet’ to the pastor who obliged by licking it while saying ‘thank you’ in a playful manner.
Other moments of the video showed the vlogger exploring different sides of Bishop David Abioye’s church before redirecting fans to YouTube to watch the full video.
While Bishop Abioye’s gesture seemed harmless, some netizens couldn’t help but find fault in his actions.
Amid the criticism, some defended the clergyman, noting that the little child was his grandchild but some netizens were still not having it.
