A recent revelation by Nigerian internet sensation Jarvis stirred emotions on social media, as she spoke about her complicated relationship with her biological father.
The AI personality, who is also known as Jadrolita, also talked about her father’s true country of origin in a tearful TikTok video.
The TikTok clip was shared by user @hushbobby, quickly garnering massive attention from netizens.
Jadrolita recounted how her father, a man from Senegal, had regularly kept in touch since her birth.
He affectionately called her Aminata, a name that had made her smile since her childhood days.
However, all contact abruptly ceased years ago, leaving her wondering what may have gone wrong.
Despite efforts to reconnect, silence persisted, and she no longer heard from her biological father.
She admitted that she was still searching for answers, struggling to understand why he had vanished.
Jarvis added that the pain of his supposed rejection had lingered, fuelling her quest for closure.
In her words:
“This father figure is what I still don’t understand today. From the beginning of birth, he used to call. He is an outsider, from Senegal. He used to call. He calls me Aminata, and I just giggle. But it got to a year when he totally stopped communicating. Till today, I haven’t heard from him. I’m the one searching.”
