Media personality Shade Ladipo recently shared a personal reflection on her initial reaction to the controversy surrounding Tiwa Savage’s leaked tape.
She admitted that at the time the video surfaced, she was among those who harshly criticized the singer.
Her judgment was influenced by the belief that, as someone over 40 and a public figure, Tiwa should have exercised more caution in her private life.
However, Ladipo explained that her perspective has since changed. With time and reflection, she began to question why she placed so much blame on Tiwa for an incident that was ultimately a violation of her privacy.
This shift in mindset was further deepened after listening to Tiwa Savage’s new album, which she felt expressed a deep sense of pain and vulnerability.
The experience led Ladipo to acknowledge her earlier insensitivity and express remorse for her reaction.
Speaking, Shade Ladipo tendered a genuine apology, noting that she’s sorry for her previous actions.
