However, the incident has not stopped Akah, popularly known as Peter Randy, from publicly showing his continued support for Obi ahead of the 2027 general election.
On Friday, August 21, 2026, Akah shared a post on his Instagram story that appeared to address the attention surrounding the viral encounter.
The image carried the bold message “I AM OK”, alongside the statement “Vote Obi/Kwankwaso for a new Nigeria” and the slogan “NIGERIA WILL BE OK!”
