Nigerian skit maker Michael Sani Amanesi, widely recognised as MC Lively, sparked excitement among his followers on Thursday, July 23, 2026, when wedding-themed pictures of him surfaced across social media.
The images quickly led to an outpouring of congratulatory messages, with fans and fellow creatives assuming that the comedian was preparing to get married.
However, MC Lively soon moved to clarify the situation. Sharing the photos on Instagram, the skit maker explained in his caption that the pictures were taken during a photoshoot and had nothing to do with an actual wedding ceremony.
In his usual playful manner, he asked his followers not to be angry with him, jokingly identifying himself as “just a model.”
Despite clearing up the confusion, MC Lively added a humorous personal revelation to his explanation. According to the comedian, taking part in the wedding-themed photoshoot had awakened his desire to settle down, as he admitted that the experience made “real marriage hungry” him.
