An X user identified as @Ade_Nurayn has highlighted one of the recent allegations that has surfaced against the late NURTW Lagos State Organizing Secretary, Toba Ajiboye, following his death.
After news of Toba Ijaya’s death became prominent on social media, a series of claims and allegations about the late NURTW official’s past activities and alleged involvements began circulating online.
Some individuals claimed that he was a political thug who had been involved in several violent clashes that allegedly resulted in the deaths of several people.
On July 21, 2026, @Ade_Nuaryn repeated one of the rumours surrounding Toba Ijaya following his death.
According to the X user, he had heard that the late NURTW official caused pain and sorrow to many families through his alleged involvement in gang clashes and road union supremacy battles in Lagos State.
Based on these allegations, he concluded that Toba Ijaya got what he deserved. He referenced the popular saying, “What goes around, comes around,” suggesting that it was time for Toba Ijaya’s family and friends to experience the same pain, horror, and sorrow he allegedly inflicted on others.
He wrote: “I heard the Toba Ijaya guy caused sorrows and pains to a lot of families when he was actively involved in gang brawls and road union supremacy battles in Lagos.
What goes around, comes around. Time for his family and friends to taste the horror, pains, and sorrow he had inflicted on others. Scores settled. These ones weeping will be okay in due time and move on.”
