Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has appeared to react after social media activist VDM reopened discussion about the events that led to the breakdown of their relationship.
In a video that has been widely shared online, VDM alleged that Davido and members of his team approached him with an offer of ₦50 million to campaign for the singer’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
“Davido and his crew offered me money… say I go collect N50 million. Ask wetin I tell them. A lot of people will be happy; you no wetin be N50 million? I bounce am,” VDM said.
VDM went on to reflect on what he described as his final conversation with Davido, alleging that their discussion focused on a Ghanaian boy whom the singer had promised $5,000.
Davido, however, seemed to respond on Monday, July 20, though not by addressing the allegations directly.
Instead, the award winning singer shared a video of a white man dancing to his newly released collaboration with No11, titled Gimme Dat Thing.
His post surfaced shortly after VDM’s claims gained widespread attention across social media.
