A video has recently gone viral showing a Nigerian lady revealing what she did at the burial ceremony of late Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo.
On June 18, 2026, the actor’s final burial ceremony was held in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State. The event attracted a large number of attendees, including family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who gathered to pay their last respects to him.
The Nollywood actor, who was widely loved within the Nigerian movie industry, passed away on May 11, 2026, following complications arising from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
Despite the sorrowful nature of the occasion, the burial ceremony also had moments of liveliness. Various delicacies and drinks were served to guests, helping to lift the atmosphere after an emotional period of mourning.
In the viral video, the Nigerian lady highlighted her major activities at the event, focusing largely on the different meals she was served during Alexx Ekubo’s burial ceremony.
She documented the various foods she ate at the event and also responded to critics who disapproved of people eating and appearing overly celebratory at the burial of a young man.
She said: “For those of you who said that you people went there to eat, why would you go there to eat? If it reaches your turn and you go funeral, cry and use the cry rub body.”
