Nigerian pastor, Bishop Patrick Osaji, has made a prophecy concerning former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Preparations for the forthcoming general elections have evidently intensified, with leading contenders such as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi all expected to contest for the presidency in 2027.
Peter Obi, who left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has long been regarded as one of the frontrunners capable of unseating the incumbent and becoming Nigeria’s next president.
However, Bishop Patrick Osaji has now issued a prophecy suggesting that an obstacle could prevent the former Anambra State governor from even participating in the election.
During a sermon, the cleric claimed he foresaw Peter Obi being stripped of his presidential ticket in the NDC through what he described as a major conspiracy.
According to him, between the end of November and the first week of December this year, Peter Obi would be removed as the NDC’s flagbearer.
He further stated that the party would eventually claim it no longer has confidence in the former governor, prompting him to challenge the decision in court.
His words: “If you known him (Peter Obi) tell him that I Bishop Patrick Osaji said that he would watch his back and build up a legal stuff. I saw his candidature withdrawn within November ending and first week of December and it was a high conspiracy. NDC would within that period declare that they have no confidence in him and therefore he is no longer their candidate and while he is in court process, general elections will happen.”
