Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has opened up about what it was like shooting an intimate bedroom scene alongside actor Daniel Etim Effiong in Blood Sisters Season 2.
Speaking during a recent conversation with Chude Jideonwo, the celebrated actress reflected on the filming experience, revealing that she appeared topless for the scene and commending Daniel for maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the production.
According to Henshaw, the two actors had an honest discussion beforehand to establish boundaries and ensure they were both comfortable with what the scene required.
She clarified:
“I had a conversation with Daniel about the sexx scene, ‘How far are you comfortable?’ And he said, ‘Sis, no problem, “I was bare up with him. At no point did Daniel get an ereection, he’s a good boy.”
The actress stressed that filming scenes of such a sensitive nature demands mutual trust, understanding, and professionalism between co-stars.
She noted that Daniel approached the role with discipline and maturity, making the process easier and more respectful for everyone involved.
