Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has publicly responded after her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, marked her 41st birthday with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the Nigerian businessman took to his Instagram page to celebrate the actress and philanthropist, sharing a warm message in honor of her special day.
In his birthday note, Churchill highlighted Dikeh’s spiritual growth and commitment to her faith, praising the positive influence she has had on others through her religious calling. He also offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, protection, and blessings in her life, while referencing a passage from the Bible.
He wrote:

Tonto Dikeh did not ignore the gesture from her former spouse. In the comment section of the post, the actress left a brief but appreciative reply.
She wrote: “Thank You my Gee”, a short message expressing gratitude for the birthday wishes from her ex-husband.
It will be recalled that the pair traditionally tied the knot in August 2015. However, their marriage was short-lived and ended less than two years later. Despite the breakdown of their union, they share a son, King Andre.
Following their separation in 2017, both parties became involved in a series of public disagreements and legal disputes that fueled years of tension between them.
After years of conflict, the former couple moved toward reconciliation in early 2026, choosing to put their differences behind them and resolve longstanding issues.
That renewed relationship appears to have paved the way for Churchill’s public birthday message to the movie star. Dikeh’s cordial response further reinforced the impression that both parties have successfully rebuilt a peaceful and respectful relationship.
