Yoruba Nollywood actress Biola Fowosire has shared details of a troubling ordeal that allegedly left her stranded in Lagos after a movie-related opportunity took an unexpected turn.
In a recent interview, the actress narrated how she made the trip from Ibadan to Lagos after receiving assurances that financial backing would be provided for a film project she was working on.
What initially appeared to be a promising opportunity, she said, soon developed into a distressing situation.
Biola alleged that shortly after arriving in Lagos, the individual who had invited her made a shocking request. According to her, he demanded that her personal assistant engage in a sexual encounter, a proposal she found unacceptable and immediately rejected.
The actress said her decision to refuse the request had immediate consequences. She claimed that the man abruptly withdrew the support he had promised, cut off communication by blocking her contacts, and abandoned her without any form of assistance.
As a result, Biola found herself stuck in Lagos with no money to fund her journey back to Ibadan and no accommodation arrangements in place.
She recalled being left to navigate a difficult situation alone while trying to determine how she would get through the night and return home.
Faced with limited options and mounting uncertainty, the actress said she became increasingly worried about her safety and welfare. With nowhere secure to spend the night and no financial means available to her, she decided to seek help from someone she believed could assist.
Biola revealed that she contacted Fuji music star Pasuma and explained the circumstances she had found herself in.
According to the actress, Pasuma responded without delay. She stated that after listening to her account, the singer requested her bank account details and promptly transferred money to her.
The funds, she said, enabled her to secure a place to stay for the night and also covered her transportation expenses back to Ibadan.
Reflecting on the incident, Biola described Pasuma’s assistance as a crucial intervention that came at one of the most difficult moments of her life.
She maintained that the outcome could have been far worse had she not received help when she did. The actress expressed profound appreciation to the Fuji star for coming to her aid during a period when she felt isolated and without support.
According to her, his kindness restored her sense of security and provided a way out of a situation that had left her feeling vulnerable and abandoned.
