Nollywood actor and politician Yul Edochie has opened up about how he met his ex-wife, May Edochie.
Speaking on the latest episode of the _Honest Bunch_ Podcast, the controversial actor revealed that he married May when she was 22 years old.
He recalled that their first meeting happened while he was sitting for his GCE exams. According to him, May was also writing at the same centre at the time.
He said: “I got married to May when I was 22 years old. We met when I was writing GCE. We were in the same centre.”
Yul also shared his views on relationships during the conversation, saying that men shouldn’t lose themselves completely in love. He stressed the importance of setting clear boundaries.
His words: “They no dey mumu for woman. No! You must set boundaries,” he said. Explaining further, he noted that “Mumu na anything wey she do, you take am. Anything wey she do, you take am, ‘Ah, I love her (Judy).”
The discussion then moved to his much-debated marriage to Judy Austin.
One of the hosts asked if he had spoken to May before taking Judy as a second wife. The question brought his personal choices back into the spotlight and sparked renewed conversation about his family life.
