Award-winning Nigerian musician, 2Baba, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Baba, has sparked massive reactions online after photos of him accompanying his wife, Natasha Osawaru, as she defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) surfaced on social media.
The event took place in Abuja and attracted several politicians alongside enthusiastic party supporters.
However, it was the unexpected presence of the singer that quickly caught the attention of many Nigerians online.
2Baba appeared casually dressed for the occasion, wearing an NDC-branded T-shirt paired with blue jeans as he stood beside his partner throughout the event.
At some point during the gathering, the legendary Nigerian artist entertained attendees with a performance of his hit song, “One Love,” earning loud cheers from the crowd.
He appeared fully engaged and attentive as his wife was formally welcomed into the NDC by former Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson.
Natasha Osawaru, who currently serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, has now officially aligned herself with the NDC.
