Nigerian hair vendor and entrepreneur, Okereke Esther, popularly known by her brand name HairHouseNigeria, has raised alarm after sharing a distressing video accusing her husband of plotting to kill her.
In the emotional clip, she alleged that her husband, Justice Okereke Ezechimere, from Okpala town in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, had intentions to harm her in order to take over her house and personal property.
Esther revealed that she recently returned from Vietnam, where she had travelled for business, only to be met with escalating tension at home.
According to her, her husband reportedly took away important personal documents and fled the house, further heightening her fears.
She explained that she had endured years of mistreatment in the marriage, describing a prolonged period of emotional and psychological distress involving not only her husband but also his family.
After eight years in the marriage, Esther said she had reached her breaking point and decided to seek a divorce, a decision she claimed further intensified the threats against her.
She maintained that her safety was now at serious risk and appealed to the public for help.
In the caption accompanying the video, Esther stated that she could no longer remain silent and was ready to fully share her story.
The video has since sparked widespread concern, with many Nigerians calling for urgent intervention.
