Renowned Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie, has come under fire on social media after sharing a controversial opinion on infidelity in marriage.
The actor recently took to his X handle to advise men on how to handle cheating partners in their marriages. He stated that once a man discovers that his wife has been unfaithful, he should not hesitate to walk away from the marriage.
Yul Edochie further insisted that there should be no form of negotiation in such a situation, stressing that the man should leave without looking back.
According to him, a man who chooses to forgive a cheating partner has automatically shown weakness, adding that women tend to take advantage of men who fail to set firm boundaries and stand by their decisions.
He wrote: “Once you find out your wife is cheating on you, leave her immediately. Men, stop tolerating nonsense all in the name of marriage. Don’t negotiate anything with her.
Don’t condone. Don’t discuss with her boyfriend. Let her go quickly. And move on. If you forgive her and continue, you have confirmed to her that you’re a weak man.
Danger looms for you. That decision will come back later to hunt you. Women deal mercilessly with weak men.”
