A video of Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale ignoring her friend’s signal to join her ex-husband on the dance floor during their daughter’s wedding has been making rounds on social media.
Sobowale had earlier shown support for her daughter’s marriage, and clips from the elegant traditional ceremony were widely shared online.
However, the moment that caught the most attention was when she appeared reluctant to join her ex-husband, who was also present at the event, during a dance session.
In the viral clip, Sobowale’s ex-husband stood up to dance as part of the Yoruba wedding tradition. A friend seated beside the actress was seen urging her to get up and join him, but she chose to remain seated.
She stayed in her seat, smiling calmly as the moment played out.
