The widow of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, Omowunmi Aloba, has become a trending topic online following fresh controversy surrounding the ongoing DNA dispute with her father-in-law.
The singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, has repeatedly demanded a DNA test to confirm the paternity of his grandson, Liam Aloba.
The disagreement between both parties eventually required court intervention after they failed to reach an agreement on the process.
In a video currently circulating on social media, a blogger claimed that a private investigation was carried out in two medical facilities abroad that were reportedly selected by Wunmi for the test.
According to the video, some supporters of the late singer contacted one of the facilities to ask whether it could conduct DNA analysis using tissue from an embalmed body. The hospital reportedly responded that it does not offer such a service.
The blogger also claimed that another medical facility chosen by the court was contacted during the investigation and allegedly gave a similar response, stating that it does not perform that type of procedure.
The claims in the video have triggered reactions online, with many social media users questioning why the DNA test has not yet been carried out.
Some commenters also suggested that actress Iyabo Ojo might already be aware of certain details about the matter, while others speculated that influential individuals could be attempting to conceal the truth surrounding the singer’s death.
