Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has broken her silence after being slammed with a N200M lawsuit over a clip of her performing deliverance on a schoolgirl.
Recall that a human rights lawyer, Ikechukwu Obasi, dragged the actress to court, describing her actions towards the girl as degrading.
He argued that Tonto Dikeh violated her human rights while performing her exorcism and insisted that the actress must pay damages.
In the face of this, Tonto Dikeh appeared unbothered as she posted a video on Friday morning, March 13, via Instagram, where she shared some life tips.
Her video was captioned:
“6 THINGS YOU MUST NOT TELL A SOUL IF YOU WANT TO SUCCEED IN LIFE..”
The clip was also accompanied by a caption where she admitted to having made a lot of mistakes in the past which has consequently shaped her.
She wrote:
“I have made many mistakes in my life. Painful ones. Costly ones. But today, I understand that God did not waste any of them. He used them to shape my voice into one that speaks truth, grace, and redemption.
I do not wish I had known then what I know now. Because if I had never walked through those seasons, I would not carry the message I carry today. My story would lack the depth that comes from experiencing God’s mercy firsthand.
Scripture reminds us in Romans 8:28 that “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Even the broken places become part of God’s redemptive plan.
