Favour, a relative of the late socialite and entrepreneur Elena Jessica, has spoken out following the tragic death of the popular figure, who reportedly died after complications from a second cosmetic surgery.
Reports indicate that Elena had previously undergone a surgical procedure and later chose to have another one.
However, the second operation allegedly led to serious complications that eventually claimed her life.
Sources say the socialite began experiencing intense pain after the surgery, which was linked to a severe infection that affected her bloodstream and the areas where liposuction had been carried out.
In a voice note that circulated online, shared by Uncle Nasco on Instagram, Favour emotionally recounted her last conversation with Elena before the procedure took place.
While speaking in the recording, Favour was heard crying as she explained that she had previously advised Elena against undergoing another surgery since she had already had one earlier. According to her, she had been worried about the risks involved.
Favour further revealed that Elena contacted her shortly before the operation and told her she had already arrived at the medical facility where the surgery was scheduled to take place.
Concerned for her, Favour said she offered to come and stay with her so she would not be alone, but Elena reassured her that everything would be fine.
The relative said she later discovered the devastating news through a WhatsApp group, where she saw messages announcing Elena’s death.
In the emotional recording, Favour questioned why Elena still decided to go ahead with the procedure despite the warnings.
She described the late socialite as someone she admired deeply and expressed sadness over the loss, wondering how she would cope without her.
The voice note has gotten many people talking on social media. Some users questioned why Elena did not fully inform her relative about the surgery beforehand, while others criticised the medical facility, Cynosure, where the procedure reportedly took place.
