Iran has sternly warned European nations against becoming involved in the ongoing hostilities between Tehran and its rivals, Israel and the United States.
Speaking amid rising tensions, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, warned that any move by European governments to intervene militarily would be interpreted as an act of war against Iran.
His remarks followed statements from France, Germany and the United Kingdom indicating they could consider “defensive action” to curb Iran’s missile capabilities.
Baghaei rejected the characterization of such measures as defensive, arguing that they would amount to aggression against Iran. According to him, any effort aimed at limiting Tehran’s military capacity would effectively support its opponents and escalate the crisis further.
He stressed that Iran would view any coordinated action targeting its defence infrastructure as an act of war.
He noted that these countries have already done enough against Iran.
Israel and US are currently at war with Iran. Iran have fired several missiles at Israeli and US targets and the duo has also retaliated.
