Hilda Baci’s mother shared a heartfelt testimony about her daughter’s achievement in breaking the Guinness World Record for cooking the largest pot of Jollof rice.
Speaking, she first opened up on joined the NSPPD prayer community 5 years ago, which she credited with guiding her through the challenges of life.
She described how, despite initial doubts, her daughter set a bold goal to cook a massive 6×6 meter pot of Jollof rice using 250 bags of rice.
She noted that at first, the idea seemed almost impossible, and she was worried about the logistics and potential mishaps, particularly fearing the pot might collapse under the weight of the ingredients.
She further disclosed that she and her family embarked on a week-long fast and devoted themselves to prayer, asking for God’s guidance and intervention.
The mother consistently joined the NSPPD prayers, trusting that Pastor Jerry Eze’s prophetic declarations would help them overcome any obstacles.
As the event day approached, she saw the overwhelming size of the pot, which required cranes to lift. Despite the magnitude of the challenge, she remained confident in God’s power, declaring that “what God cannot do does not exist.”
On the day of the event, she admitted being overwhelmed by the large crowd that turned up but thankfully, everything went smoothly.
The pot, which held 200 bags of rice, did not collapse, and the event ended successfully, with the Guinness World Record achieved.
Hilda’s mother concluded with gratitude to God, acknowledging that her daughter’s success was a testament to God’s faithfulness and that Jesus had guided them through every step of the way.
