Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has once again captured public attention with her latest Guinness World Record.
Hilda Baci, who previously made headlines with her record-breaking cook-a-thon, revealed online that she is teaming up with food brand Gino to attempt another historic feat — cooking the largest pot of jollof rice ever.
The record-breaking attempt took place on September 12, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos State.
Hilda, in collaboration with food brand Gino, prepared what would become the world’s largest pot of jollof rice.
In a video on Instagram, Hilda Baci shared the moment she received a call from the Guinness World Records team.
She captioned the post:
“This moment isn’t just mine, it belongs to Gino and to all of us. This record was made possible because @Gino Nigeria created the platform for this history to happen. To the tireless team that worked day and night, to every cheer, every prayer, every hand that helped stir, pack, and serve… this Guinness World Record was built on unity, love, and collective strength.
