Nollywood movie producer Stanley Ontop has broken the news of the reported arrest, court arraignment, and remand of actress Angela Okorie on his Instagram page.
In the post on Wednesday, January 28, Stanley Ontop alleged that the actress was arrested at midnight, flown to Abuja as early as 6 a.m., taken to court the same morning, and subsequently remanded in Suleja prison.
According to him, the speed at which the judicial process allegedly unfolded was alarming and raised questions about the possible abuse of power.

He expressed disbelief that the system could act so swiftly in one case, suggesting that such actions were unfair and troubling.
Stanley Ontop further criticized an unnamed colleague of Angela Okorie whom he claimed was connected to the situation, questioning how he/she could go to sleep knowing that Angela Okorie was in prison.
He described the development as disturbing and called for an end to what he termed the misuse of authority.
The producer also declared his unwavering support for the actress, assuring her that he would not forsake her. He announced his intention to travel immediately to Abuja after confirming the availability of a flight, with the aim of working toward securing her release.
He concluded by repeatedly calling for Angela Okorie’s freedom, urging authorities to release her and emphasizing that his actions were driven by care, concern, and a demand for justice.

“This country is really funny!! You arrested Angela Okorie at mid night yesterday, flew her to Abuja as early as 6am, this morning you took her to court and the court remanded her in Suleja prison.
So the judicial can work this fast? Tell me how you will sleep this night knowing fully well that ur colleague is in prison!!! Angela I will never forsake you, I am coming to Abuja to secure ur release.
