Controversial street entertainer and social media figure DJ Chicken has come under heavy criticism, with many demanding his arrest after a video he made about President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign surfaced online.
In the video, which was originally posted on his Instagram page but has since been deleted, DJ Chicken claimed that Tinubu would not secure victory in the election while making a disturbing threat directed at the president’s son, Seyi.
The widely circulated clip showed the online personality wearing traditional clothing, including a white shawl and layered beaded necklaces. Speaking directly into the camera during what appeared to be a live broadcast, he delivered the inflammatory remarks.
The video quickly attracted public attention, triggering several criticisms from Nigerians who warned that the entertainer might get arrested for making such statement.
So far, neither the Tinubu family, the presidency, nor any security agency has released an official statement concerning the video.
