A Nigerian woman has stirred conversation on social media after sharing her thoughts on comedian Mark Angel’s recent marriage to his new wife.

Woman Reacts to Mark Angel’s Recent Marriage
The woman, identified on Facebook as Vera Ebere Nwosu, weighed in on the ongoing discussions surrounding the comedian’s marriage, particularly the claims about the bride’s age.
In her post, she defended the couple and questioned the criticism being directed at them. Nwosu challenged those condemning the marriage, asking whether they would offer the same opinions if the groom were a member of their own family.
According to her, Mark Angel is still a young man, making it unreasonable for people to dictate the type of partner he should choose. She also pushed back against allegations that the bride was underage.
The Facebook user insisted that any woman above the age of 20 is legally an adult and fully capable of making her own decisions. She described the claims against the bride as unfounded, maintaining that the woman was already over 20 years old.
Nwosu also touched on the comedian’s past marriages, arguing that the breakdown of previous relationships should not automatically be viewed as a failure.
Instead, she suggested that those unions likely ended because the individuals involved were not compatible.
In her opinion, ending a marriage that no longer works is far better than remaining in a relationship filled with unhappiness and repeated infidelity. She emphasized that people should be free to move on and seek happiness elsewhere when a marriage has reached its end.
Rounding off her remarks, Nwosu praised Mark Angel’s new wife, describing her as naturally beautiful and attractive even without the use of makeup.
She wrote: “If Mark Angel were your brother, would you advise him to marry someone much older than him? Is he not a young man too? Or you expect him to go and marry another man’s wife like some of your celebrities do? All of you saying Mark Angel married an underage woman are cr@z!. How exactly? Any woman above 20 is an adult and can make her own decisions.”
