Apostle Harrison Ayintete, Lead Pastor The Goodness Nation Ministries recently took to social media to share the message he received from singer, Skales after he condemned his testimony at Harvesters church.
Recall that Skales on 31st December 2025 during Crossover night testified about how God answered his prayers.
He noted that he had prayed for God to revive his career, adding that he was laughed at, which made his craft look like a joke.
Skales however testified that God answered his prayer by raising a boy from Barcelona FC, Lamine Yamal who just grooved to his hit track, ‘Shake Body’ and it went viral. He affirmed that this simple act turned out to be the answer to all his prayers with big deals coming to his side.
Reacting to the testimony, Apostle Harrison Ayintete via his Facebook page condemned Skales for giving such a testimony in church and also took a swipe at the church for allowing it.
He asserted that ‘Shake Body’ is a song associated with immorality and its success isn’t worth celebrating in song.
In his words:
“God blessed SHAKE BODY ke? Shey God won’t bless porn like this , at this rate? Abi God don Dey bless Yahoo?
I think this testimony shouldn’t be on the pulpit because what’s the message this testimony is passing?
That we can sing songs that promote ungodliness and God blesses it? Same issue I had with when Rema testified at a Christ embassy church and even donated publicly. It puts the church in a very difficult place!
If a young man left church into the world and has now become a global star, he brings his money to church and we celebrate him publicly, what message are we passing to choir members who are serving the Lord dutifully? What message are we passing to the people out there?
These issues are quite sensitive! We must be careful what we promote and make testimonies in God’s house!!”

Following his criticism, Skales who was visibly triggered stormed the DM of the pastor on Instagram where he mercilessly blasted him.
He mocked the clergyman and also bodyshamed him.
Sharing the screenshot online, Apostle Harrison Ayintete reiterated his initial statement, noting that Skales’ testimony does not inspire Godliness.
He wrote:
“Dear @skales , since you reached me privately, you and I don’t have a relationship so I don’t think we should have a private chat.
The conversation is not even about you, naturally, I don’t think you are a serious believer, thus the issue is not your issue.
The issue is really about your local church.
I honestly think they shouldn’t project your testimony on SHAKE BODY, it doesn’t enable spiritual growth, devotion or maturity.
Your testimony does not inspire Godliness.
I don’t have any issues with you dear brother.
If you gave that testimony on your own platform, it is really not my business, i believe you have the right to enjoy the fruit of your labour, it is your labour. However, if your music that promoted immorality has succeeded, your church shouldn’t have projected that as testimony, it will only make more younger people do immoral music and immoral things while seeking God’s blessings on it.
It is the very wrong example.
I have no issues with you sir, I believe the best of you, I hope your local church can do better with what they project as testimonies to saints else we will have more people projecting ungodly things and mixing it with godliness.”
