A rare video has surfaced on social media, capturing a tense moment that ensued between Moroccan stewards and Senegal fans at the AFCON 2025 final.
The match between Senegal vs Morocco, played on January 18, 2026, turned out to be one of the most controversial matches of the tournament, with numerous unusual scenes being spotted.
A new video posted on Instagram by @sportbible, however, shows the moment Moroccan stewards advanced towards the Senegalese fans’ section and began dragging a fan.

Other Senegalese fans immediately intervened by pulling the guy back while throwing punches in an attempt to repel the forceful pull from the stewards.
It swiftly escalated into a show of power as the Senegalese fans and Moroccan stewards exchanged hard jabs.
As a result of the tough resistance, the Moroccan stewards weren’t able to drag the targeted fan who subsequently ran to a different position.
