A Cameroonian cleric, Apostle Lawrence Ngano of Revival Waves Global, has shared his stance on Pastor Dolapo Lawal, describing him as a minister whose teachings stand out for their depth and clarity.
Ngano explained that he is usually cautious about endorsing ministers who gain popularity quickly, noting that public visibility comes with the responsibility of shaping people’s beliefs, convictions, and spiritual direction.
According to him, his interest in Pastor Lawal began after a spiritual daughter repeatedly spoke about how the pastor’s teachings had helped correct her thinking and deepen her understanding of certain complex spiritual matters.
Although Ngano had previously come across a few short video clips of Lawal’s messages online, he initially did not pay much attention to them.
However, his perspective changed after listening to the pastor minister during the World Faith Believers Convention (WOFBEC). Pastor Ngano said he took time to carefully listen to the teachings and found them thoughtful, balanced, and rooted in Scripture.
He noted that Pastor Lawal communicates deep spiritual truths in a simple and understandable way, without unnecessary drama or sensationalism.
Ngano described him as a teacher who approaches the Word of God with patience and sincerity, focusing on clarity rather than theatrics.
He added that such qualities are becoming increasingly rare in a generation where excitement and charisma often overshadow substance and sound doctrine.
In his words:
“ABOUT PASTOR DOLAPO LAWAL
I am not easily impressed by trending ministers.
Not because growth is wrong, but because visibility is dangerous when accuracy is weak.
Once a man becomes public, he is no longer just preaching to excite people,
he is shaping convictions, doctrines, and destinies.
So I watch from a distance.
I listen slowly.
I wait.
A spiritual daughter of mine kept talking about Pastor Dolapo Lawal.
She spoke about how his messages were correcting her thinking, aligning her heart, giving her understanding on some complex matters very simply….
I said “okay.”
Truth is, I had seen a clip or two before.
Short videos.
Nothing alarming, nothing dramatic.
They were powerful but not enough to make me notice him like that you get…
Then came WOFBEC.
That was the moment something shifted for me.
I listened… and I stayed listening.
This man is not shallow.
He is not confusing.
He is not trying to be different for the sake of being different.
He is deep and sound, a combination that is becoming rare.
His voice is calm, almost gentle, but his words carry weight.
He teaches like someone who has spent time thinking, praying, and unlearning before speaking.
No sensationalism.
No unnecessary spiritual gymnastics.
Just Scripture opened carefully, patiently, honestly.
You can tell when a man loves truth more than applause.
For those who may not know him:
Pastor Dolapo Lawal is a teacher of God’s Word with unusual balance.
He communicates deep spiritual realities without mystifying them.
He doesn’t shout to sound powerful.
He doesn’t complicate things to look deep.
He understands something many have forgotten, THAT CLARITY IS NOT THE ENEMY OF DEPTH.
In a generation where many are loud but hollow,
where charisma often replaces character,
and excitement is mistaken for encounter,
it is refreshing to see a man whose strength is substance.
I don’t recommend ministers casually.
I know the damage wrong teaching can do.
But I can say this sincerely:
Pastor Dolapo Lawal is worth paying attention to.
Worth listening to and Worth following.
If you are hungry for truth that settles your soul,
not just messages that give you goosebumps,
then you will understand why I’m writing this.
My prayer is simple:
May God preserve his heart.
May grace keep his doctrine clean.
And may accuracy never leave his mouth.
The Body of Christ needs men like this,
quiet, deep, sound, and faithful.
That’s my honest take.
Penned by a burdened one,
Apostle Lawrence Ngano”
