Controversial Nigerian activist, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has sparked buzzz online after playing an alleged private bedroom audio during a TikTok live session with comedian Nasboi.
The clip, which quickly gained traction across social media platforms, captured VDM sharing a personal voice recording while speaking with Nasboi.
The development has further intensified the already heated brouhaha regarding him and King Mitchy
The conflict originally began when Mitchy showcased a school renovation project in Delta State, stating that the work was completed within six days as part of her outreach efforts. She documented the process online, presenting it as a charitable initiative.
However, tensions escalated after she accused VDM of withholding NGO funds for years without executing visible projects, prompting a strong reaction from the activist.
In response, VDM criticised Mitchy and alleged that she had backing from Seyi Tinubu, while also questioning the legitimacy of her renovation claims. He further argued that the project was not fully completed, adding more fuel to the online clash.
The situation soon became more dramatic, with both sides engaging in controversial stunts. A video circulated from Mitchy’s camp suggesting she had consumed a harmful substance, alongside claims of her death, which were later debunked. Not long after, VDM also staged a mock death scenario, reportedly organising a symbolic burial.
Amid the backlash, Mitchy issued an apology on Instagram, acknowledging VDM’s activism and expressing regret over the confrontation.
However, VDM rejected the gesture, insisting it lacked sincerity. Mitchy later clarified that her apology was influenced by Nasboi, claiming he guided her on what to say, recorded the video, and shared it online. During the TikTok session, Nasboi confirmed his involvement in encouraging the apology.
Reacting during the live broadcast, VDM humorously referred to the comedian as an “adviser” before proceeding to play the controversial audio clip, which has since become a major subject of discussion across social media.
