The internet has been buzzing after Chante Campbell, the fourth estranged wife of Nigerian senator Prince Ned Nwoko, shared a series of cryptic messages on her Instagram story that elicited comments online.
Campbell, who is known for maintaining a relatively private lifestyle following her separation from the senator, recently drew attention after posting a quote many followers believe carried a deeper meaning.
The post featured a popular quote often attributed to Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe, which read:
“Strong women don’t have attitudes; we have standards.”
The message quickly caught the attention of fans and social media users, who began speculating about the possible motive behind the post.
In addition to the quote, Campbell dropped another strongly worded message presumably directed at an unnamed man.
In the message, she appeared to criticise someone she accused of pretending to be overly honest while emphasizing on a woman whom she claimed had hidden intentions.
In part of the message, Campbell expressed frustration, questioning the honesty of the individual and insisting she could never be dishonest for anyone.
“I thank God I am so honest to a fault, says a fool… and now he claims someone told him she loved him so much and she had hidden plans. Know thyself. Can’t never be dishonest for nobody… you are an idiot. If I say you are, you are.”
Although she did not mention any names in the posts, the messages quickly triggered speculation across social media platforms.
Many users began debating who the comments might have been directed at, while others suggested the posts could hint at tension within the senator’s household.
