Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has addressed public reactions trailing a billboard showing himself, his former wife Tonto Dikeh, and their son.
The billboard, mounted at the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lagos, sparked conversations on social media after many assumed Churchill sponsored it.
The development led to mixed opinions online, with some users speculating about possible tension in his current marriage to actress Rosy Meurer.
Responding via his Instagram story, Churchill dismissed claims that he was responsible for the display. According to him, the billboard was arranged by a close friend as a surprise in celebration of his son’s 10th birthday.
He posted screenshots of their exchange to show that the gesture was intended purely as a celebration and not as a statement aimed at generating controversy.

Among those present were businessman Obi Cubana, actress Rita Edochie, Uche Elendu, Empress Njamah, Zack Peju, and singer Teni.
During the event, Tonto Dikeh publicly commended Churchill for his role as a father and offered prayers for his wellbeing, family, and business interests.

Addressing the rumours in a series of videos, Meurer debunked the report and further spoke on her marriage to Churchill which has been targeted by critics for years.
