Afrobeat maestro, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid and his colleague, Seun Kuti are battling it out online.
The clash ensued after Seun Kuti came for Wizkid’s fans (Wizkid FC), engaging them in a series of banter across social media platforms.
In reaction, Wizkid blew hot as he angrily slammed Seun Kuti and further claimed to be bigger than his father, Fela in the course of his outburst.

He referred to Seun Kuti as a fool at 40 while calling his wife ugly.
Firing back, Seun Kuti attempted to spite Wizkid by linking him to embattled US rapper, Sean Combs alias P. Diddy. Kuti ironically called for the immediate release of Diddy, stating that his Lagos babe is missing him.
He wrote:
“Free Diddy. His Lagos babe is missing him. @wizkidayo.”
Responding, Wizkid made a triggering statement saying:
“We all know who be diddy babe for naija. if na chain u want come collect too o. make una free me my mouth no good.”
Although, Wizkid didn’t explicitly mention anyone’s name in the above statement, many assumed it was a direct shade at Burna Boy who was widely accused of romantic ties with Diddy.
